The Morristown Emergency & Rescue Squad was formed in 1955 after a need for a rescue squad arose because of an increase in water-related accidents and deaths in the 50s.
The goal of the Morristown Emergency and Rescue Squad is to provide assistance, render first aid, and care for all persons in distress, and to assist agencies in need with knowledgeable, trained emergency responders.
We are trained and equipped to provide vehicle extrication, search and rescue, high angle rescue, dive rescue and recovery, confined space rescue, and support for medical and fire emergencies.
